• Implemented real-time chat and instant notifications using Socket.IO and Server-Sent Events (SSE).
• Offloaded long-running tasks to background jobs and event-driven workflows (BullMQ, RabbitMQ) to keep APIs responsive; used Redis for caching and rate limiting.
• Configured Cloudflare security rules to block malicious traffic before it reaches the applications.
